A Minneapolis-based company that owns three Cripple Creek casinos has agreed to buy two more gambling halls in the city, including the city’s largest.
Southwest Casino Corp. plans to pay $23.6 million for the Double Eagle Hotel and Casino and the adjacent Gold Creek casino at the east end of Bennett Avenue. The company already owns the Gold Rush Hotel & Casino, Gold Digger’s Casino and Uncle Sam’s Casino.
