Laguna unveils $3.9M renovation on Dancing Eagle Casino

Laguna Development Corp. will hold a grand opening on Dec. 10 to show off its newly renovated Dancing Eagle Casino.
Laguna Development Corp. is a business enterprise of Laguna Pueblo. The firm owns two casinos -- Dancing Eagle at Exit 108 off Interstate 40 and the Route 66 Casino at Exit 140 -- as well as travel centers and a transmix plant.
Dancing Eagle underwent $3.9 million in renovations and added 100 more slot machines, said Skip Sayre, director of marketing for the development corporation. Renovations were done by Jaynes Corp. and include the addition of a new restaurant, Cafe 108, and a new stage and music lounge with a new sound system. It will feature local and regional musical acts Thursdays through Sundays. Orale and Native Roots will be performing on Dec. 10 for the grand opening.
