$15 million racino expansion nears completion

Patrons will be sure to shout, "That's the way, I like it" after a new nightclub and buffet facility open at the Saratoga Gaming and Raceway.

Disco performers KC & the Sunshine Band are scheduled to perform at the racino's new Vapor nightclub on July 12, officials announced Tuesday.

Vapor, a new high-limit gaming area and Garden Buffet restaurant, will officially open during a ribbon cutting ceremony on May 25.

The $15 million expansion is 2-1/2 weeks from being complete, but the project did not go through the local planning review -- which has disappointed city officials.
