First video bingo hall opens
Bastrop Daily Enterprise, Saturday, June 2, 2007 at 1:11:23 PM
With whirrs and whistles and flashing lights Bastrop's first -- and only -- video bingo establishment opened its doors Friday morning.
Bingo Gold, located in the Washington Square Shopping Center, opened for business at 10 a.m. Friday. A number of patrons were there for the grand opening, enough to impress Joe Gilbert, the bingo machine operator.
"For this early in the morning we're very pleased," Gilbert said.
