Ground Broken on Pittsburgh Casino

Casino developer Don Barden broke ground on a planned $450 million casino on Tuesday, even though the project still must be approved by the city planning commission.
The Majestic Star Casino will be the "biggest and best" of the Detroit businessman's five casinos in Las Vegas, Indiana, Mississippi and Colorado, he said.
"I think you will be very proud with what we are planning for Pittsburgh," Barden told an audience of more than 100 people who attended the ceremonial groundbreaking. "We're here to bring positive change. We're here to be a positive neighbor to the residents on the North Shore and the city of Pittsburgh."
