Penn National names GM of future Maryland casino

Penn National Gaming has appointed long time executive Himbert Sinopoli to the position of General Manager of the Hollywood Casino Perryville in Cecil County, Maryland.

Upon regulatory approval, Sinopoli will take full responsibility for all aspects of recruiting and training as well as the start up and ongoing operations, effective February 1st.

The planned $97.5 million Casino bordering Pennsylvania and Delaware along the Chesapeake Bay will feature 75,000 square feet of gaming including 1,500 video lottery terminals, food and beverage offerings and a retail store scheduled to open in late 2010.
