Two Neapolitans literally on a roll in Vegas

There is no need to describe Vegas really. Doesn't it speak for itself, what with a weekly TV drama in its name? How many Boomers out there haven't experienced Elvis in Viva more than a time or two? This past October, my friend Judy and I left Naples for a not-so-standard five-day, four-night adventure to the desert sin city.
It was definitely in the adventure category for us retirees, as we both have some mobility concerns: moi's both ankles were fractured in an automobile accident; Judy has knee issues. The tour package we purchased had us staying at the Bellagio, a top hotel, where friends told me we could literally spend the entire four days and be pleasantly entertained.
After picking up my travel buddy in the dark hours of a Monday morning we were off to see the city built by Bugsy. I luckily happened to be seated on the right side of the plane in the window seat as we flew over the Grand Canyon. Breathtaking. Getting through the airport with the wheelchair for her and a walking sidewalk for me was a breeze. A shuttle $5 (included as a voucher), took us on our first look-see of Vegas. We arrived at the Bellagio, and it was fab. The Dale Chihuly ceiling - about 10 times the size of the one in the Museum of Art at the Phil - was like a field of huge glass wildflowers strewn about. There is a Chihuly gallery onsite if you want to include a piece in your own art collection.
