USCasinoFinder goes online with detailed listings for 3,000+ casinos

USCasinoFinder,  Thursday, November 23, 2006 at 9:29:20 AM

USCasinoFinder went online this morning, providing visitors with a well-organized directory of more than 3500 US-based resort, casinos, card rooms, bingo halls, casino cruises, as well as sports and race books.

In addition to the vast amount of information about casinos, USCasinoFinder also features breaking news (also available in rss newsfeed) and informational articles on various aspects of gambling.

The project was months in development, with programmers meeting regularly with casino enthusiasts in order to develop the right mix of information and useability. Jim Paine, president of USCasinoFinder's parent company, True Interactive Yellow Page Directories, Inc., said he was very pleased with the look of the website and the huge volume of information contained in the listings, as well as the speed with which the system served up the data.

"I enjoy gambling myself," Paine said, "but I don't feel as though USCasinoFinder is a gamble. It has solid information served up with solid technology."

But will it succeed in attracting visitors?

"I'll take that bet," Paine said.

Gambling Factoid #27:
The dice game Craps comes from the old English game Hazard. Craps got its name from the French version of the game, which they called Crabs.
