Greyhound Race Tracks in the United States
Dog racing is popular in many states, and involves greyhounds chasing a mechanical lure (originally, they chased an actual rabbit; this was called "coursing") around a race track (unlike other sports like fox-hunting, greyhounds chase their quarry by sight rather than scent).
All the benefits of race gambling are present: parimutuel betting, OTB (off-track betting), sportsbooks in casinos, and simulcasts.
