The ship's log of the SunCruz I casino boat may yet add a new chapter.
A resumption of the boat's gambling trips from Key Largo is a possibility, said Spiros Naos, former chief operating officer of Oceans Casino Cruises.
"It's still not 100 percent" certain, Naos, a nephew of the late SunCruz founder Gus Boulis, said from his Broward County office.
Nightly trips on the SunCruz I halted in mid-October, but the casino boat -- a multi-deck vessel variously described in reports as 77 to 87 feet long -- remains docked along the Port Largo canal.
